Mold testing is pretty self-explanatory. It’s the process of testing mold, usually to determine what type it is: ranging from mildew to black mold regarding what is the scariest to have in your home.

While there are mold tests you can do from your home, the best way to test for mold is to hire professionals. The mold tests that you buy from the store can only give you a superficial understanding of what the mold is in your home and certainly won’t tell you how to remove it.

While most molds can be universally treated, there are less severe methods we can use determining the type of mold.
